Dylan Lundstrom, MSc.
Since 2010, Dylan has immersed himself in the wine industry through work, travel, and study. After completing a Master of Viticulture and Enology in France and visiting winegrowers in Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhône, and the Loire Valley, he arrived in Napa Valley to complete his thesis with one of the region’s top consulting firms.
In Napa, his work centered on prestigious vineyards, utilizing advanced technologies and scientific methodologies to enhance fruit quality.
Following a season with Steve Matthiasson in 2018, where he refined his organic farming practices and winemaking skills, Dylan leased a one-acre vineyard in Coombsville to apply his knowledge to a classic Napa Valley project.
Aubry Wines are crafted with the goal of achieving the highest quality possible, while honoring the unique characteristics of the site in every release.
Coombsville AVA, Single Acre Estate
100% Cabernet sauvignon; Clone 337
Rootstock 101-14
Planting year: 2002
Alcohol 13%
pH: 3.62
TA: 6.9g/L
Grapes for the 2019 vintage were harvested on September 25th and October 5th, then blended to give the 2019 Aubry its depth and site-driven characteristics.
The label design was inspired by the Western Bluebird. We built birdhouses for them on the property, and they moved in almost immediately, becoming our most effective tool for organic pest management.

Oak Knoll AVA, ‘Linda Vista’ Chardonnay
100% Chardonnay; Clone: Selection Massale
Rootstock: unknown
Planting year: 1989
Alcohol 12%
pH: 3.6

The Aubry 2023 Chardonnay, sourced from Steve Matthiasson’s ‘Linda Vista’ vineyard in the Oak Knoll AVA, is a fresh and vibrant wine. Harvested at 22.5 brix and 12% ABV, it showcases floral aromas alongside notes of green apple and stone fruit.
Partial malolactic fermentation preserves its crisp acidity, while brief aging in neutral oak adds a subtle layer of complexity. This versatile wine is perfect for any occasion and makes for an excellent everyday drinker.
